ImageDraw is a server control which generates real-time, on-the-fly images for ASP.NET Web Applications. ImageDraw allows you to use all the potential of GDI+ in your ASP.NET Web Applications. You can use ImageDraw to deliver real-time dynamically generated images such as charts, diagrams or any other graphical application. The Image Web control built into the .NET Framework is useful to render static image files, but suppose you need to convert the original image into another image format, resize it in a given size, add your own captions on it, convert it to grayscale version, and so on. In those cases you can use ImageDraw. The control provides cross-browser compatibility. At design-time you can resize (scale, stretch) the original image, change the output image format, apply image effects such as Grayscale and Negative, and so on. If you want render a dynamic image, i.e. a GDI+ Bitmap Object, you can use Neodynamic GDI+ Preview at design-time.

This component is AspLib component library part. The component enables easy and simple showing and uploading images without creating additional forms, files or handlers. Image initialization on a form is carried out by the ShowImage event. When uploading a image UploadImage event is called and the image is passed to the event handler. If a image is not defined in the ShowImage event, then a default image, defined in the EmptyImageSrc property, may be displayed. In case of Width and Height properties being defined the image can be automatically truncated. Databinding of the key (which defines what image is displayed) is supported, as well as binding to the image binary through DataImageField property. The control has some client side events.

With this product you can convert a True Color image to palettized one using Floyd-Steinberg dithering algorithm. GDI+, by default, uses a halftone palette, that creates ugly looking, poor quality images. New algorithm gives images without grain looking just like original ones. This is especially useful for photography. In order to use the new conversion technique, you just need to copy one file. This is useful for hosting servers because you don't need to register any components.

Additionally provides shared/static resize methods that let you specify the exact height and width or just the longest side to automatically maintain aspect ratio. Both .resize methods preserve the original meta data in the new copy!
