| Writer's Block is a multi-user blogging/article publishing tool for people who write a lot. It allows full site templating with simple HTML; blogging with changeable dates and Draft status; commenting with intelligent anti-spam checking; the creation of Anypages, non-blog pages that can hold anything; the creation of Mini-Blogs that are independent of the main blog; and user-defined categories that allow you to sort blog posts and Anypages under multiple categories. Its best feature is that you can give your Anypages, Mini-Blogs and categories a text URL that *means* something: why be forced to link to a hard-to-remember ID number when you can link to a memorable name? Writer's Block also comes with a text insertyer for adding special punctuation (like Em and En dashes or curly quotes), an automated sitemap, RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0 feed for the main blog and RSS 2.0 feeds for the latest comments and each Mini-Blog.
