    3. Database Backup Utility (MySQL)
    This software optimizes all of your tables, in all of your databases, and then goes through each table to back it up into peices that can be dumped back into the database later on, if something unfortunate were to occur. The software gives you a visual view on the progress of the tables, and gives you information on the size of tables, and whether they were so large that the software deemed that they should be broken into small pieces. The best part is that the dump files are backed up onto your FTP server into a backup folder, and stored by date and file. That way, you may either download it onto your computer later, or leave it up as a backup incase something were to happen to your tables or your database.

    4. DB LIB
    This handy little module takes all the pain away from making a database for programmers. Simply make a format file, for the format the data will be stored in. IE: NAME|BIRTHDAY|AGE and then make a short file to access the db: ie load_db('bdays') db->add('bdays','marc'...etc. Make long jobs short with this simple module!

    5. Khakilist: A flat text database
    If you are looking for an easy to use database which simply lists all entries on a web page, this may be what you are looking for. You can sort descending/ascending. Also, entries can timeout automatically e.g. for OoO lists. It is possible to password protect lists.

    6. klist: Web based flat text database
    klist is a perl script which can create/delete/edit flat text databases. The script is installed in cgi-bin as any other cgi program. You can specify various fields like: text, number, popup and links. A simple password scheme allows you to present lists as read-only, add-only or fully editable depending on the password.

    TML is a template based database system that you can use to manage bookmarks, address list, images data such photos and icons, and audio data such as MP3. You can also use TML to create databases of your own design.
