This programme lets you run a slide show using HTML pages instead of images. It is particullary useful for those wishing to offer a kiosk service. You can add/remove slides via the web interface, while the slide show is running and these slides will be dynamically added/removed to/from the show. The programme is very simple and will run as is with no modification whatsoever, although customisation is very easy.

SlideShow is a perl synchronized web presentation scripts package that allows 'real-time' control of some browsers by others. The 'master' script projects an image that the viewers can receive. The master projector places snapshots of their session into the viewer's browsers through the use of server pushes. The viewers are receiving a MIME document and displaying it 1 frame at a time.

This script allows you to create a client pull slide show from a series of html documents. One particular use may be: Let's say you download a number of pictures and want to create an html file for each graphic in a particular directory; You can then use this script to link each together in a self advancing slideshow. You also have the option of displaying the filenames as HREFs in one frame and the pictures in another, so you don't have to watch the show in a linear fashion.
