Photoshop Move tool
In this section we are going to learn how to move the objects in photoshop. The move tool
is used to moves selections, layers, and guides. You can move a selection or entire layer by dragging it with your mouse or using your keyboard arrows keys. Select the move tool and click and drag anywhere in the image or use your arrow keys to move the layer in small increments. Hold down the Shift key to move in larger increments. The following 2 figures shows how to move a selection.

First select the
part you want to move. Then click the move tool and position the pointer within
the selection. Notice that the pointer becomes an arrow with a pair of scissors.
This means that dragging the selection will cut it from its present location
and move it to the new location.
Moving and duplicating
a selection

Holding down
the Alt , click the move tool and position the pointer within the selection.
Notice that the pointer becomes double arrow . This means that duplicate
will be made when you move the selection.
You can make
horizontal or vertical movements by holding down the Shift key.
