Photoshop - Rock Text
1) Open a new document.
2) Choose the type tools and type your text in brown color.
3) Then rasterize the type layer.
4) Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Follow settings as shown .
5) Next, go to Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple. Set 8 for ripple size and 2 for ripple magnitude.
6) Next,apply Bevel. Go to Layer > Layer Styles > Bevel and Emboss. Follow settings below.Make sure to select texture.
To finish text, go to Layer > Layer Styles > Drop Shadow.
Another method
1) Type your text and rasterize the layer.
2 Now what you want to do with that is ADD NOISE to it. Remember it is very important to make it a MONOCHROMATIC, amount: 7.4.
3) Now blur it from LEFT TO RIGHT. FILTER > BLUR > MOTION BLUR. Angle:0, DISTANT 7- 11.
4)Now go to FILTER > ARTISTIC > and DRY BRUSH and choose the Brush size:2, Brush detail:8, Texture:1.
5) Now apply the lighting effects. FILTER > RENDER > LIGHTING EFFECTS.
