Creating rollover button

1) Open a new document. Choose rectangular marquee and draw a rectangle. Fill that with any color and apply bevel and emboss.(See layer btn-yellow). 2) Duplicate the layer and fill the selection with different color and apply bevel and emboss.(See layer green). 3) Make the green layer active and type text. 4) Save the
document and click on jump to Imageready icon |

5) Now make the slice. Using rectangular marquee make a selection around the first button. 6) From the menu choose Slice>Create slice from the selection. And then save the selection(Slice >save slice selection).

| 7) repeat steps 5-6 and create one more slice around button2. | |

| 8) Next make a copy of green layer. | ![]() |

9) Go to the Rollover Pallet and click on the New roll over state icon. This should create what looks like a duplicate of the original image. 10) Now click on the down arrow and from the list select first button's slice. |

| 11) Click on the normal frame. Then hide the green & green copy layers in the layers palette. | ![]() |

12) Click on the over frame. Make the green layer visible by clicking the eye icon in the layers palette. 13) Then load the selection around button2 and press Del key.

14) Now select the second slice.(As in step 10). 15)Click on the normal frame. Then hide the green & green copy layers in the layers palette. 16) Click on the over frame. Make the green layercopy visible by clicking the eye icon in the layers palette. 17) Then load the selection around button1 and press Del key. Deselect the selection. |
